Starting as a sketch in my notebook from a bench in San Fransico, Q&A has grown into a brand which strives to inspire the creative mind as well as foster a close community.
Based in the surf capitol of the world, Santa Cruz, California, Question & Answer Apparel has rooted itself into the lively, artistic community. From performing artist to nature enthusiast, programmer to athlete and anything in-between, Q&A apparel aspires to give individuals the platform & ability to express their full selves & achieve our full potential.
The idea behind the symbol and meaning of Question & Answer is that oftentimes we as individuals will look at a problem our communities face and become quickly overwhelmed with the idea of helping out. Certain issues we face are so big, that they leave us only hoping for the best in the situation, as if nothing will change unless some huge party intervenes. Q&A strives to inspire individuals to make a difference on a personal level, leading to a ripple effect. At the end of the day, we as a people cannot just idly stand by and wait for a change to happen, we must be the change.
The motto of Question & Answer, depicted in the logo, is to take a look at an issue or a situation that we face, and to find some sort of solution to the problem. Whether on a personal or large scale, we as humans need to look out for each other and do our best to enable one another to be the best version of ourselves we can be.
